Result: 4.6/5.0 Three times in a row. Wow. OK, I've said before how the Ogallala Shave Soap does a fade job. Well, I squirted some Kiss My Face Unscented Shave Cream into the soap container and let if marinate for a couple of weeks. Much better. The soap kept it's unique great scent and the quality of the shave improved dramatically. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and chop up the soap and make a scream out of it as an experiment. I see a lot of potential here. I may even split it up and try one batch using a small amount of Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Shave Cream.

Result: 4.6/5.0 This one was almost too easy. The right soap, the right equipment. Having a bigger brush like the Shavemac custom or Kent BK8 would have made it even better, but I'm not going to complain.

Result: 4.6/5.0 Last in the sequence this week is the Tabac shave soap with the Tabac cologne. Once again a nice shave and I smell good too. Tabac is a love/hate thing. The soap is great but you either love the scent or you hate it. I guess I was making up for yesterday's scentless shave.

Result: 4.6/5.0 I was right. The Institut Karite soap comapred well with the C&E and TOBS Shave soaps I used ealier this week. I went neutral on the aftershave since I was going early morning to Department of Motor Vehicles for some tests and permits. I aced the tests and with the great shave, I'm a very happy camper today.

Anherb Aftershave Conditioner

There is a matching aftershave gel to this product and either one of them will work fine for those times you really need some skin conditioning after you blew a shave and roughed yourself up. There are three things you can reach for when your face is left in bad shape. Raw Shea Butter, 99% Aloe Vera Gel and this. This conditioner is very expensive but works very well without a lot of stickiness. I use it very sparingly though. You don't need much but it really is for special situations unless you have money coming out of your ears. It's also tough to find but usually someone on the boards knows someone who is selling it.

Institut Karite 25% Shea Butter Shave Soap

A really nice shave soap made in France. It has all the qualities of a well made shave soap with a nice light fresh scent and the added benefit of shea butter. Price wise , it's a little on the expensive side with being @ $14.25 for a puck without a bowl. I'd compare it favorably to a C&E or Taylor of Old Bond Street Soap.
