Result: 4.0/5.0 The cream did not cushion at all and it just confirmed that I wasn't happy with the formulation. I was too close on the shave if there is anything that can be considered too close. I had to mix glycerin on my face in with the lather for the last pass to increase the protection and glide. I did end up with a couple of small nicks that sealed right away. Like I said, the cream gave almost no protection. What little there was left in the jar, I tossed.
