I've been a little remiss on updating the blog due to other commitments. I haven't been purchasing any new products either except to get a Feather ACD-N for home. I'm starting to store away products I don't want to use and will have a sale some time in the near future. Most notably a good portion of my Mama Bear soaps will go on the auction block. I'm just going to keep one or two for the scents. Performance wise, I have many many more products that do as good or better job. I may even chop a couple of them up and experiment with Kiss My Face scream combinations.
I've changed my prep routine a little and I've started to learn how to get a good lather directly to my face instead of using a bowl. A work in progress definitely. Creams are easy. The prep change is using a facial cleanser early in the shower and then just before getting out of the shower, I turn up the water temperature and soak my neck for 45-60 seconds directly. Just before I shave, I'll re-soak my face with hot water. The first soaking is to open the pores, break down the facial hair and hydrate my face. The second soaking is to re-open the pores if they've started to close and add more hydration. It's making the shaves a lot easier and less chance of tugging and weepers.
