It's going to be a Ogallala Bay Rum week. The old formula was not very good but the new formula is much better. Make sure to load up the brush with plenty of soap. I'm working through different razors with the Israeli Personna blades like I did with the Derby Blades. I may go to Feather Blades next but that might be a little overkill. I'll have to bring in a couple of Gillette razors to test.

Last week were all decent shaves. Nothing special happened or any shaving disasters. The Tabac soap was right on all week with lot's of nice creamy lather. The scent is not for everyone. Just like this week's Ogallala.

This is my setup for the week. I've switched blades from the Derbys to the Israeli Personnas and I went with the bigger Edwin Jagger brush. Not my favorite but it will give me a bigger lather than BBB brush I was using last week.

Last Week:
The BBB brush is a great starter brush. Love it but don't expect huge lathers out of it due to it's size. The TGQ soap probably could have benefitted from a larger brush. It needed more lather sice it tended to fade a bit. Otherwise it was a nice soap. I had mostly 4.5/5.0 shaves with one
day of 3.0 since I totally blew it and gave myself 3 weepers. I was really asleep that day. They stoped by the end of the shave.

I'm going to a shave of the week format. Easier and gives me a better chance to evaluate items. I haven't posted anything in a couple of weeks due to some major obligations at work. Not much better now but I thought I needed to post something. I'll be rotating some items out soon for some others in my hidden stash. I might switch around some aftershaves during the week but
the shave soap/cream will stay the same. Have a great shave.
