Result: 4.5/5.0 I was digging around in one of my storage boxes and found this puck of Saint Charles Sandalwood Soap. Glad I did. It lathered up nice after a little aging time. I over wet it a tad. Glide and cushion were adequate. The scent was a little light though. I need to figure out how to use the Lucky Tiger Facial Cream in my routine. I put it on shortly before the shave and it worried me that it was going to interfere with the shave based on how it felt on my face. I'll do some experimenting and see what works best.

Wilkinson Sword Glycerin Shave Soap Stick

A much better product then the Blue Bowl. A little bit awkward for some people because of the shave stick format but, great for travel. It is a more natural soap with much better lathering, glide and shave properties. If you can find them, pick up one or two.

Ingredients (Care of moviemaniac at The Shave Den):
Potassium Stearate, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Tallowate, Potassium Cocoate, Aqua, Sodium Tallowate, Glycerin, Sodium Cocoate, Parfum, Lanolin, Potassium Hydroxide, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Limonene, Linalool, CI 51319, CI 74160, CI 77891

Result: 4.6/5.0 Nice smooth safe shave. No issues. The QEDman Vetiver Soap performed quite well but the scent is a little overpowering. Open the lid and it hits you right away and not in a good way. I'll have to put the other QED soaps side by side and see how powerful they are.

Result: 4.6/5.0 Nice smooth shave. Scaled things back a little by using the Pro Guard Blades on the Feather ACD-N Razor and the Crystal Blades with the Mild Gillette Adjustable Razor. Combined with the always reliable Nancy Boy Signature Cream and you should get a decent well mannered shave and I did. The one note on the Nancy Boy Cream is that it needs water. It will dry out on you and leave these weird flying soap flakes. So, don't leave it on your face too long to dry out. Add water.

Result: 4.6/5.0 I have no complaints about these products always nice to go back to my roots once in a while. A lot of shavers move away from Proraso to higher end products. This was especially true when Target stopped carrying the product line. I think it still a decent product line and good to have around.

Result: 4.4/5.0 Recovering from yesterday. I use the Feather ACD-N just on cheeks and jaw line. No nicks, weepers or cuts and only minor redness on a couple of spots that were already beat up. The second go round with the Institut Karite 25% Shea Butter Soap was quite nice. I pre softened the soap a little longer and it bloomed nicely in the bowl and on my face.

Result: 2.2/5.0 Remind me why I try to do an ATG pass with a Feather ACD-N razor again? It's great for the jaw line. Fixes that bad spot nicely. It's fine for under the chin. It's fine on the cheeks but, the neck? Forget it. What a weeping mess. Four, count them four weepers. I had to break out the alum block but no styptic and saved the shave. Actually, except for the weepers, the shave was great. So, as I sit here and enjoy my BBS shave minus a layer of skin in some spots, I'll try and remember then next time I'm tempted to do that.
