Result: 4.6/5.0 Hmmmm...I seem to be on a Bay Rum kick. Maybe it was the hot looking woman standing next to me in the cafe Friday morning that said I smelled really good. I just had my shower and shave and all the Bay Rum stuff was still fresh. Nope, it's just coincidence. I grabbed the nearest soap in the armoire yesterday and I'm continuing my Ogallala Bay Rum Shave Soap test today. Which brings me to the test results. On Friday, I tested the Ogallala new soap formula and find it made made a huge difference from the old soap formula. Same great scent. Much better lather. However, it still wanted to fade in the bowl after two passes and about 3/4 through a pass on the face. Less water and more soap fixed most of that. But, if you have some Kiss My Face Unscented Shave Cream around then do yourself a favor and squirt some into the bowl with the Ogallala soap. Then stand back and watch the lather explode and stick around for as long as you want. Same great scent and slickness and mounds of very thick cushioned lather. Since this new soap it meltable, I may try what Rick was doing and take a puck of soap and melt it with some KMF unscented mixed in and see what I get. This should be fun.
